About the Artist
Award-winning artist and author, Gerald Zwers is one of the most versatile and creative artists today. He has been the owner of several galleries in California and has a background in art conservation. Gerald's works have been acquired by collectors in nearly all fifty states as well as dozens of foreign countries.
Prolific and dedicated, Gerald Zwers has found his passion producing what he calls “Neo-Spiritual Artwork”, which celebrates the amazing richness of the human spirit. He typically generates several hundred works of art each year. This impressive output includes paintings, sculptures and multi-media pieces that range in size from postage stamp-sized miniatures to large public works.
Community service is very important to Gerald. He has served on the boards of directors of several non-profit art, museum and community agencies and helped in the formation of a local hospice. He was also appointed to the County Arts Commission.
Zwers has chosen to sow positive seeds through his art, community service and daily life. He believes we are all capable of embracing our own distinctive role that will benefit others and the Earth for thousands of years.
